-Controls-

Mouse - clickclickclick!

-Goal-

We've all played The Hero in games before, but haven't you ever wondered what the NPCs get up to when such adventures are going on?

Will a Hero be sent to their doom or their fated success! You decide!

NOTE: Unfortunately, additional controls and gameplay didn't make it into this Jam build of the game. Hope you enjoy our team's efforts anyhoo! ^_^

-Other Design Ideas we didn't have time for?-

  • Build custom quests for your heroes out of a randomised assortment of Quest Components* (Like predictive text, except for adventures!)
Send your heroes to collect anything, from anywhere, with anyone!
  • Earn the Big Bucks by negotiating for rewards with business savvy heroes
  • Maintain your own Storeroom of quest items

Hey! I like the graphics and the tab switching but I'm not quite sure how I am supposed to play. My quests and my inventory are empty (oh and btw i spam clicked on the inventory and the tab vanished at some point, is that supposed to happen?).

Thanks for playing and your feedback!
If you've gotten to the point where you can open and close inventory, you've played it all! 😅

There were various bits of functionality planned and on the road to being implemented, but we weren't able to get them all together in time! (Ah, game jam scope - a tricky thing!)

Glad you liked the parts you did!

Ah, I understand. We submitted 2 minutes before the delayed deadline, so same story for us xD These jams are always super stressful and we barely made it on time. I feel like this is a great foundation for a click adventure. Making an inventory and quest system is quite ambitious for a game jam.

(1 edit)

Was a bigger team than I've worked in before and a few folk's first jam! Think one of those jam challenges I'd learned about was coordinating everyone's vision for the project (So many good ideas, so little time :D)
